Sepang Track Day
Date Line: 7 May 2005
This Track Day was organised for the members to test their cars and to get a feel of driving on the Sepang International Circuit (SIC).The track was opened to the public from 9.00am to 12.00 noon. To make use of the track SIC charges a fee of RM150 a person.
The other clubs that was presant there on that day was the Lotus Club. The members mostly consisted of Lotus Elise owners. There were a few other entrants, which brought to the track, cars like Honda Civics and Proton Satrias.
For the V-Sixers it was a fun morning with most members hitting the tracks and pacing their cars for a number of laps. Time in between was spent chatting among members.
As for me I was there with my faithful FV6. Covered a few laps, with a little bit of a handicap. I had just changed my brake pads the day before and did not have the time to return to do a disc skimming job. My car had a stong vibration each time I applied the brake in speed.
Thats me in the pit area with the FV6 after a couple of fast laps. I had a bit of an overheating problem as I discovered one of my cooling fans was not working. Note the overflow of coolent on the right of the picture.
The FV6 next another members very blue V6.
Perdanas in a row at the Paddock Area.
Members of the V-Sixers there that day.
