Reviewing this album tune by tune is very hard and complex, so I'll give some general judgements about it.

1st listening: remembered only melodic singing parts of 'The Holy Filament' and 'Vanity Fair', and was completely hooked to them. Beside that, I had an impression that there's too much of everything on this album...

2nd listening: whoa! Shit - here can be found every music genre after Beatles were kikin' (and even be4 them!) ...In traces, but enough of everything. Just listen to 'Goodbye Sober Day' and you'll be caught between synthetic sound of swamp, crazy mambo rhytm (fast and slow), oriental melody mixed with church choir (which is actually Patton multiplied by 1000), 'rap' vocal (the closest match), nutty jams, heavy guitar beastiality, baby processed vox... Beautiful!

And don't you dare to say that this is some kind of 'crossover'! Hehe

That's only one example of crazyness. There's nut stuff in every tune, but I'm not gonna describe them all, because that would be too much of adjectives in one review.

Ok, now I'll try to draw bottomline:

If you've never heared this album before, prepare for one crazy ride through music history of XX century that will be complete new way of expiriencing music.

rate: 8

(it's cool, but sometimes goes too far)

my sister's rate: 10
