A number of such professional street performers provide much entertainment for pedestrians on a daily basis. In addition to a variety of juggling styles, this man could also do a number of jumps and stunts. Dressed in Superman's costume, the colors were immediately eye-catching.
The difficulty in this situation was getting a clear view of the performer without cluttering the scene with the huge audience watching the performance. I went for a high viewpoint, standing on a balcony directly above the performer. This eliminated the nasty background and the crowd. It also produced a composition that was at a risk of looking 'flat; Fortunately the afternoon sun was relatively low in the sky. This caused a nearby tree to throw a dramatic shadow over the scene and also highlighted the features of the performer, his black hat, and the two towels on the ground.
Some motion blur was present in this scene and a faster shutter speed with a higher ISO setting would have prevented this without the loss of depth of field from opening the aperture further.
