A local annual event that was held on 31st December 06 urged all photographers to produce images that best represented Singapore in the last 24 hours of 2006. I didn't feel the need to sleep till much later, so I took my first photograph for the event when it was four minutes into New Year's Eve.
Although this image didn't hold any significance as far as the theme of the event was concerned, I enjoy the sheer minimalism of the photo. The luminous green markers on a black background create a composition that is simple and the colors are soothing to the eye.
