Chapter 1: The Sacred One Awakens



     Gohan opened one eye, his head was pounding, he had a killer headache, he opened the other 
eye, what he saw was unfamiliar to him, where was he? The last thing he remembered was Piccolo 
ordering him to freeze himself in a state of suspended animation, then he was knocked clean 
out by something. He guessed one of them must have taken him to Bulma, after he got knocked, to 
be frozen. Anyway, he was in a glass pod, similar in make to a saiya-jin one, but longer, it 
must have been the one he was frozen in, he couldn't move, his legs, arms and torso were frozen 
solid, "how I am I going to get out of this thing?", he asked himself, then an idea hit him, he 
could always, use one of his energy attacks, to thaw himout and fire it at the glass pain in 
front of him.
     As he was thawing out, a couple of young miscriants were messing about near his chamber, 
unaware of the danger they were in, though they were not much in size, they too were fighters,
In fact one of them was Gohan's great grandson, for their names were Goku and Vegeta jr*, 
they were taken aback by the great big, yellowish beam that came crashing over their heads, 
and the ghostly shout, "Masenko!",
"The ancient one spoke!?!", remarked Goku,
"Not just that but, he's alive, the secred son of the great Goku is alive!", replied Vegeta,
"What are you talking about?, how long have I been frozen?", asked Gohan, taken aback,
"Frozen? You mean you were alive all that time, but you were frozen", questioned Goku,
"Yes, any way, what year is this?", 
"What year is it? er... I don't know, do you Vegeta?", 
"Er, em, nope don't have a clue",
"You don't know what year you live in?!?", Gohan could not imagine the idea,
"Oh, we do, we just can't remember", answered Vegeta,
"Jesus, ok, do you know how long Iv'e been frozen?", asked Gohan,
"Well the museum man said you'd been in that excact spot for over 100 years", replied Goku,
"A 100 YEARS !!!, no it can't be!?!", Gohan broke down on the floor, " do you know what happened
to Piccolo and Krillin and Chauzu and Tien, Yamcha after the saiya-jins arrived?",
"We don't but we know someone who does!", they two midgets answered together, "come on we'll show 
you", and with that the two children took the saiya-jin outside, then they took to the air,
"Where are we going?", asked Gohan, desperate to know,
"Wait and see", answered Goku, to Gohan, Vegeta and Goku jr reminded him of Trunks and his brother 
Goten, Goku jr looked exactly like Goku except he wore a crimson bandana round his forehead and his 
karate gi was a greyish blue colour, and the exact same applys for Vegeta jr (lokking like Vegeta 
etc, though his additute was a lot better) but he didn't wear a bandana.
   Soon Gohan relized that they were headed towards Dende's look out, but was it still Dende's?
only time would tell.
   They landed a few minutes later to be greeted by Mr. Popo,
"Goku, Vegeta, how nice it is to see you and who is this you are brini...", 
he stoped dead in his tracks and dropped the watering can he was holding in his hands,
"What's wrong Mr. Popo, you look like you've seen a ghost", chuckled Gohan nervously,
"G...g...Gohan is that you?!? we all thought you were dead", 
"We?", asked Gohan,
"Oh yes you don't know, do you", at that very minute 3 elderly men came out from inside,
"What's all the racket for Mr. Popo", said one of them,
There were two namekimians and a human (or was it), the middle was a lot younger than the other 
two, though he was still old, and Gohan immeadiatley recognized him as Dende, but who were the 
other two,
"Oh, my, it's those rapscallians, Goku and Vegeta again", said Dende playfully, "and whose this 
wi...", Dende did the exact same as Mr. Popo, 
"Gohan? is that you?", asked Dende,
"Yes, it's me old friend, how are you", replied Gohan as he walked up and hugged Dende, "who are 
they?",
"Don't you recognize them? Well, the namek is Piccolo and the other is...",
"Father?!?", 
  
   The two strangers are none other than Piccolo and Goku sr, what a suprise, perhaps now Gohan 
will learn what happened to the the rest of the Z fighters, this and more...
