Q1.: Unfortunately your plug-in 1.06 doesn't play LQT-files recently downloaded from www.liquid.com. Furthermore this plug-in hurts LQT-file and it cannot be played with official liquid plug-in. Mr. Friz's Utilities do the same thing corrupting songs. Q2.: I find that some .lqt files do not play. They are valid files as the Liquid player plays them. A.: The Winamp plugin is based on an early Liquid Express Player executable and as such will only play files that conform to a given internal format. The problem you mention here is probably due to the plugin modifying some lqt files to make them playable in Winamp. In Winamp with the plugin installed you can go to Options -> Preferences -> Plug-ins -> Input, select the LiquidySplit plugin and click the Configure button. You'll see an option to "Prevent plugin from altering files". Checking this option will make sure that files are not altered in any way and will avoid possibly corrupting valid files. The files may then not be playable in Winamp with LiquidySplit. This is unavoidable. Unfortunately Liquid Audio can decide at any time to change their internal file format in order to produce files that won't play in older players. |
