| Position the 3.8+tranny over ther the engine compartment. next, get someone to push down on the tranny and slowly lower it. It might take a few attempts to get it to fit into place properly. Slowly lower it onto the mounts untill you can get the bolt holes to line up, and bolt them into place. After you get that bolted in, use a floor jack to lift up the back of the tranny into place. The stock crossmember should fit with no modifications. After thats bolted in place, you should re attach the shift linkage and makesure everything is in place. Next, hook all of the wires, hoses, linkages, etc back into place. |
