I have two posters I'm kind of proud of.
Da Get Da Piano Dance poster (1972)
This poster announces a benefit to buy the piano for what would become
Tipitina's.
Earl King and the Rhapsodizers
poster (Probably 1976)
This show was hosted by the student entertainment group at Tulane.
These kinds of cheap concerts were part of the regularly scehduled
entertainment at Tulane. TGIFs with free beer were common as well.
Figaro, a weekly arts newspaper which turned into Gambit after 1980,
ran a weekly comic that often featured Vic and Nat'ly called F'Sure. It
was described as featuring locals and "actual dialogue heard on the
streets of our metropolis".
