The museum traces the history of the

telephone.  From 1876 starting in

Alexander Graham Bell's attic workshop

to the modern phone that we all take for

granted today.

Automated talking displays and dioramas

depicting the evolution of the telephone

and special exhibits permit hands on

participation.

The museum is located in space provided

by New York Telephone Company in

1990.  All the exhibits have been created,

constructed and are staffed by volunteers

of the Telephone Pioneers of America,

Paumanok Chapter #85.
