LIVERPOOL FC
Welcome to my page devoted to Liverpool Football Club., probably the greatest football team in the world.

Liverpool is undoubtedly one of the most successful clubs that European football has ever seen, A team that not only conqured the british league in both the 70's and 80's but also was also feared in Europe by winning the European cup and the  UEFA Cup on numerous occasions.

This great team met its downfall in the early 90's when a manager took over who sold off the top players and set about bringing in his own players, players who by all rights should never of worn the red shirt of Liverpool Football club. This team struggled to finnish in the top 5 for the coming years despite the patience of its loyal supporters.

In the late 90's an unknown French man was brought in to help out the club and serve as joint manager with the then manager Roy Evans.

Following Roy Evans' resignation from the club in 1998 towhich he had served for so long, Gerard Houllier was given sole charge of the club. He want about his task by signing players of the calibre of Jerzy Dudek, El-Hadji Diouf  and John Arne Riise and nurtured the talents of Steven Gerrard , Danny Murphy and Michael Owen, making them into the players that they are today.

Houllier stated that his team would regain their league crown within five years of his charge, his record says that he is well on course for his aim : -

                                                          98/99 - finished 5th
                                                          99/00 - finished 4th
                                                          00/01 - finished 3rd
                                                          01/02 - finished 2nd
                                                          02/03 - ??????????

Here is my tribute to a team who can only get better and better.

This is what i think is probably the strongest line up that we could put out onto a pitch, check it out and tell me what you think.
