Medical Checkup Camps |

On July 15,2000
organized a free blood Grouping camp at Hotel Dennis, Sector-35,
Chandigarh. 45 persons were checked. |

On October 10, 2000
organized a Joint Free Medical Camp at colony No.5 Chandigarh.
Camp was inaugurated by Mr. Ashok Vashishta, Astt. Commissioner
U.T. , Chandigarh. 550 children were checked. Medicines
And refreshment was also given. |

On October 15,2000
organized a Joint free Medical camp at colony No.5, Chandigarh.
600 children were checked . Medicine and refreshment Was
also given. During this check up , 10 children were referred
to the P.G.I. and Govt. Medical College, Sector-32, Chandigarh
for further Check-up. |

and Burail village, 3500 children given Polio drops. |

On September 8, 2000,
the club celebrated Teacher's Day at Govt. Sr. sec. School
Sector-45, Chandigarh . On this occasion, the club honoured
7 Teachers from Different school. Mrs. Santa Hitabhilashi,
the Mayor of Municipal Corporation Of Chandigarh , was the
chief guest and Mr. Brahmjit Kalia D.E.O. was the Guest
of honour. |

On February 14, 2001
, Our Club Donated Artificial Limb to a needy handicapped
Girl Ms. Sandeep Kaur, Village Dharamgarh Distt. Patiala
at Lions Bhawan, Sector-18, Chandigarh. Lion Dr. N.k.Grover,
Distt Governor was the Chief Guest. |

On July 28, 2000
,club organized a rally and Lecture on world population
day At State Institute of Education , Sector-32 to create
awareness among the People about the dangerous arising from
the growing rate of population in India. |

celebrated Independence Day with the school children at
Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Sector-45,Chandigarh and distributed
fruits and Sweets. Later the member went to Bal Niketan,
Sector-15 and handed over a Cheque of Rs. 1100/- to be Superintend
and distributed fruits to the inmate. Thereafter club members
visited Mother Teresa Home, Sector-23 and distributed Fruit
to the inmates. |
