Spread the word!
Thanks to the efforts of Mrs. Lori Spicer, Mrs. Ellen Hughes, Mr. Chuck
McNulty, Mr. Dave Burke, Coach Vince Parnell, Mrs. Day and countless others,
Howard has their lights back! Over 500 people signed a
petition as well as pursued the school board and others to make sure the
"lights stay on". Thank you and "WHAT A WAY TO SHOW YOUR
PRIDE."
Our hats are tipped to Joyce Agnes for an outstanding job in promoting
cancer awareness as well as funding for improving the quality of life for
young people with cancer. The 2nd annual Kicking Cancer Soccer
Tournament as well as the 2nd annual Through Charlie's Eyes 5K Walk/Run,
both held in September were an overwhelming success.
Congratulation to HHS Football for winning their homecoming game against
Mt. Hebron. What a game! 27 to 26 in overtime! Awesome!
A big ROAR! goes to the three new members of HHS Hall of
Fame. Ms. Chanelle Carter, Mr. Doug Duvall, and Mr. Kevin Kelly
were inducted in a pre-homecoming ceremony on October 5, 2002. Well
deserved guys!
Wow! Have you seen the good lookin' warm-ups the boys' soccer team
is wearing? They've been donated by the generosity of the McCullough
family. Thanks for making us look good. They also donated a
sizable contribution to the girls' soccer team.
Thanks go out to the Pompeian Vinegar and Olive Oil Co. and the Patton
family for once again sponsoring the Lions' Pride seat cushions. Their
generosity is appreciated by all!
If you have something to roar
about , e-mail Lions' Pride at [email protected] we'll try to post it!
