UPCOMING GAMES
PENNSYLVANIA @ OREGON

PROBABLE PITCHERS:
Kody David (0-0)
vs.
Jeff Wernette (0-0)

PITCHERS PREVIEW:

Kody David who cleaned house last year to win not only the JD Dani Gross award, Rookie of the Year award but also the Season MVP. Kody David won his first start in the High Wire Game and went 3-0 on 3 starts and never let up a single run, he pitched 8 innings in one game and struck out a MMLB high 26 batters in one season.
Jeff Wernette
was the ace for the sophmore team the Oregon Gray Jays last year and brought them two runs away from a High Wire championship. Last year Wernette put up carrer low numbers for Oregon but still had a .500 record at 1-1.
FINAL PERDI
CTION:
Pennsylvania 4 - Oregon 2
W: Kody David (1-0)
L: Joe Faber (0-1)
With both starting pitcher's on their final years of their contract, both will be fighting to keep their name presetable if they do choose to play the market at the end of the year. So after 1 it'll be 0-0 as both pitcher shake the rusty batters, but as the spring gets hotter so do the batters. A couple homeruns and basehits later we see the score 2-2 after 2. Wernette is pulled in the top of the third and Joe Faber, making his debut, lets up a 2 run shot to give Penn. a 4-2 lead and David will finish the game with a 1,2,3 inning to win the High Wire re-match.
MICHIGAN @ ARKANSAS

PROBABLE PITCHERS:
Darrin Sellars (0-0)
vs.
Emily Papple (0-0)
PITCHERS PREVIEW:
Darrin Sellars whom for the first time will not be wearing a ND/PEN jersey as he moves his show on the road as the ace at Michigan. Sellars who was a shutout pitcher his first three seasons had a slip in numbers last season having carrer bad numbers in hits, runs, losses and era.
Emily Papple the strong throwing knuckleballer will throw the first pitch for the Bullfrogs. Mrs. Papple recieved her first ever MMLB victory last year as she finished the year 1-0 with a carrer best 2.25 era. The knuckleball was the best it ever looked last year and she hopes to carry that into season 5.
FINAL PERDICTION:

Michigan 3 - Arkansas 1
W: Darrin Sellars (1-0)
L: Emily Papple (0-1)
Both teams have one rookie in their starting lineup. But, Tim Hadley the first overall pick in this years draft will be leading things off as the first batter fo the game. During his first at bat of his MMLB carrer he will start things off with a lead off triple. Papple will end the inning losing 1-0. The second inning will be more painful to watch as the Mahlers will throw on 2 more security runs on Papple. Sellars will finish the game with a complete game as he will allow one run in the third as the Bullfrogs will try to rally but fall short.
ALASKA @ TEXAS

PROBABLE PITCHERS:

Dani Gross (0-0)
vs.
William Arnold (0-0)
PITCHERS PREVIEW:
Dani Gross whom once was the Dani Gross award winner dropped her stats in seasons 2 and 3 but in season 4 she got her first win since season 1 and kept her era under 2. She brought Alaska to the number one seed in the N.D. last year but was upset in the first round by Oregon.
William Arnold whom also has obtained a Dani Gross award, and like Gross, Arnold acomplished the feat in his rookie year. Arnold is coming off a 2-0 season giving him his first two wins of his carrer. He has a carrer .85 era in 2 seasons and is making his debut as a N.D. pitcher. The Highest paid Free Agent was brought over to Texas after they lost the bid on last year's N.D. all-star starter Mary Roche.
FINAL PERDICTION:
Alaska 0 - Texas 2
W: William Arnold (1-0)
L: Batter's Loss (0-1)
S: Andy Faber (1)
In Inning one look for Gross to start out sloppy giving up walks and hits to equal two runs, but on the other side Arnold will be lights out. The following inning Gross will have been pulled and lights out will come by the bullpen but Alaska will threaten getting bases loaded with one out, but Arnold will K the side to put the threat to an end. Finally, Andy Faber, Mr. Closer, will shut out Alaska to give them a Batter's Loss.
