This Story is the basis for the RPG
*Planet Arus, 10 years after the defeat of the doom forces*
An aged man runs down a hallway , breathing heavily, but trying to go on as quik as possible. The man seems in a hurry, as if there was somthing that needed to be done. The Hallway is a cold stone Underground Tunnel, He'd traveled these halls when they were new, but now mold stains the walls and the ceiling dripps water like an old mine shaft. At the end of the hall, he reaches a locked door, he then begins to cross himself, the way he opened this same door a few years ago when the planet was decrepit after the death of the King and he handed over a secret to a group of people that just might hold the key to Arus' survival. Except this time, he was sending the object of Arus' salvation away, it was too late for the planet, but what few people do survive, will never live in fear agian. Upon entering the chamber, the man, Koran, approached a console and began to enter some codes, for the first time in ten years the room was lit, mice scattered and cob webs hung from all possible parts of the wall. After he is done, Koran just stands there staring as his work begins to complete itself. He can remember quite well the events that lead up to this day.......
After the final battle on Doom, Prince Lotor and his high ranking officials where arrested. No more the five years later Koran himself as well as the Voltron Force went to try and keep the reminents of the doom forces in jail, but to no avial there were many in question and sypathising of the way Lotor and his Forces were Handled after they were captured. Lotor was released on parol and his officials with nothing. Lotor remained on a distant planet while His Officials, now led by Hagar, returned to Doom to spend the next few years reclamating the damage done to the planet and renslaving all of the inhabitants that decladred themselves free after Lotors Autocratic rule was removed. Freedom was offered to all slaves who would join and rebuild the Doom army. None were reluctant seeing as they were tortured daily in slavery. So some where soldiers, others were trained as pilots, and when the time came they invaded the planet lotor was staying on, and he rejoined them as the reborn leader iof the Doom Forces. On Arus at this time, the Voltron force had all returned to their respective planest with the exception of Keith Kogane, who instead stayed Back with Princess Allura to help her with her Royal Duties. The two ended up developing a relationship and marrying. Unfortunatley a couple years later the two were asssassinated after a interplanetary summit, and the royal family's children secretly sent to live with a rebel group. The handy work of Hagar but when they were questioned, no obivious links were made, and they were able to contiue their scheming in secrecy While the children were not found pronounced dead after a few years, though they were alive and well . Lotor was able to make an alliance with the people of planet Balto. He falsly promised them wealth and economic reform for their at this time, Nation in crisis. Once they agreed, Lotors forces moved in enslaving the enhabitants Including "Pidge" Thomas-Kerry, the one time pilot of green lion for the Voltron Force. The new additon to their empire gave Lotor enough soldiers to begin his silent campaign to conqour the galaxy. Most of the planets who caught on did nothing to intervene, because they werent under invasion, and the very few who did try to help were quikly conqoured...like arus was as of this moment..
Koran came out of his recollection, and walked, not ran, back down the stone halway, he had no reason to run being that his work was complete..The five lions that could be united to form voltron where sent far away to a small planet not far outside arus' crystal galaxy. Koran now stould on a balcony, one that the princess stood on often during her time as the blue lion pilot for voltron. He looked out on the planets kingdom being toppled one building at a time...........
This RPG takes place 20 years after the story you read above. it includes some characters such as Prince Lotor and the children of Keith and Allura. The 5 lions were sent to differant places on earth and havent been discovered yet. Earth is now a poluted over populated planet with high crime and poverty like one big slum.
