The annual District 410B Boat extravaganza was held today (8th March) at Zoo Lake with the Lions Club of Johannesburg North making their Clubhouse available for the day and providing much-needed food and refreshments. Great fun was had by all!

There was
much friendly competition between the participating Clubs and
Krugersdorp with their articulated boat system beat most of the records
established to date. The Duckworth-Lewis tables had to be
introduced to balance the scores! However, that did not deter the
intrepid Ferrari clan from Krugersdorp! Everyone walked away with
something and as the saying goes - "It's not the winning that's
important - it's the taking part!
Certainly the participants were the greatest winners! Thanks to Lion Rhona Rubin and her team for putting the day together and to the Lions of Johannesburg North for hosting the day so well. |
