THE LION HEAD SEED HOUSE CATALOUGE.
This is my first year trying this and I hope all goes well, I have listed several of the seeds that I save each year from the many plants I grow in my gardens and I hope their is something here that catches your eye, but if not never fear because I have many other plants growing that I am currently trying to build up seed stalk of. All of my seed is freshly harvested this year unless otherwise noted and if it is a previous year�s seed I test the germination to make sure they are still good before offering them to the public.
I DO NOT BELIVE IN GENETICAL MODIFIED FOOD STUFFS
(SEE SAFE SEED PLEDGE) so this catalogue will not be offering any such seeds as well I think that saving your own seeds from your garden is a great way of preserving are past for the next generation of gardeners so here at Lion Head Seeds we sell many open pollinated plant seed so that you at home can save the seed form year to year and eventually have a variety that will perform better in your area of the world then any where else. CLIMATE ZONES
Although we are based in Ontario, Canada and our seeds go to many countries and so we have chosen varieties which will perform in a wide diversity of climates. Annuals generally do not require zoning but rather have cultural requirements, which you will see with the listings. Perennials will have their zones indicated as a guide. We welcome any input on your findings. Zones go as follows, indicating lowest temperature in winter:
