My Poetry Corner
These are some poems that I made for a project in the seventh grade. Some of them look really strange because they don't rhyme, but they are all actual types of poems. At least, that's what the teacher said. ;-P I'll categorize each of these by what types of peoms they are.
I don't know how good these poems are, if they're any good at all, but I got an A on the assignment! Lol. :-P
Take Five
Poem One:
Pants
Denim, blue
Flares, bags, sticks
Boot legged
    Pants

Poem Two:
Family
Warm, caring
Laughs, reunites, talks
Bound by love
Family

Poem Three:
M&Ms
Chocolately, colorful
Melt, crunch, satisfy
Melts in your mouth, not in your hand
M&Ms

Diamond
Poem Four:
Renaissance
Olden, different
Fighting, storytelling, painting
Medieval, Europe- technology, present
Learning, discovering, teaching
New, common
Today

Poem Five:
Lion
Furry, big
Roaring, growling, hunting
Beast, danger- herbivore, wool
Romping, grazing, sleeping
Quiet, gentle
Lamb

Poem Six:
Pencil
Wooden, designed
Writing, breaking, falling
Lead, eraser- sheet, tree
Ripping, cutting, flying
Colorful, thin
Paper
I Used To... But Now...
Poem Seven:
I used to soar like an eagle,
  Wild and free
  In the bright azure sky.
But now my wings are clipped,
And I'm locked in a lonely cage
  For eternity
  All alone with no life

Poem Eight:
I used to know my place
Right where I wanted to be
  In this cold, cold world
But now I'm everywhere
Stopping in every empty slot I can find,
  But never staying long

Poem Nine:
I used to be a watchdog
  Able to sniff out danger
  And protect my territory
But now I'm a poodle
Only able to yip as people pass
  Wishing I were strong
I Wish
Poem Ten:
I wish
  I were a princess
  Married to a knight
Living in a castle with secret passages
  In the medieval times

Poem Eleven:
I wish
  The snow was gone
  And life would start again
  For me
  In a wonderful warm world

Poem Twelve:
I wish
  I could hunt and growl
  And defend myself
  Like a lioness
  In a pride

Going on...
Note: All of these poems are my own work and no one else's. Do not try to attempt to take these if for some reason you want poems. Talk to me first.
