| LARANI: La--means 'eat; no; never' I couldn't find a meaning for 'ra' but 'ni' means 'a form of "to be" ' Other swahili names sounding like Larani are: "Hadharani", meaning 'brown' and "Karani", meaning 'secretary'! (Larani is a made-up name.) |
