.....prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. {22:11} He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

What does this mean ? Doesn't Christ want all to be saved why does he say let the unjust, the filthy be as they are. Yes, the Lord desires all souls to be saved but not at the expense of His Righteousness. Its the free will of men to choose. The Lord appeals but not coerce. He knocks but He doesn't gate crash.
The World as it is, is on the way to its own eventual end. The church however is not called to stop this eventual destruction. Just like Noah was not instructed to pray against the Great Flood. Nor Abraham against the eventual destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. We are called however to bring people to Christ, into the Ark of Salvation sealed with the Holy Spirit till the day of redemption. But until Noah is safely in the ARK, the rain begin. Until Lot was safely away in another city that fire and brimstone rain on Sodom and Gomorrah. Until all has heard and all that is to be saved is saved then would the end come.
In fact Jesus said there shall be wars and rumours of war, famines, pestilences and earthquake.So if this is the eventual end, so do we take this as fait accompli and adopt a fatalistic attitude. No, just as Abraham interceded for Sodom and Gomorrah. Just as Jesus as our High Priest is still interceding for us.
I say this becasue sometimes we get carried away, trying to make the whole world a Church. The church is called to bring men to Christ. Not to change the world system. To impose the rules of the Kingdom of God on the goverment of this earth.To stop the anti-christ. To stop the anti-semitism. There shall be war and rumours of war. Earthquake, famines and pestilences. The Lord is not stopping them for the world according to Him in the Book Of Revelation is hurled towards destruction. However, within the larger force of end time prophecy, the Lord allows His grace to suffice when His name is invoked within the context of the overall strategy. He allows miracles, he let loose His gift of Faith for salvation. He still sets captives free. But not to change the world system and goverment. 'Let them that is unjust be unjust still. Let them that are filthy, be filthy still.'
As a bible believing Christian we have the Book of Revelation to enable us to live history backwards. Meaning to say, the end of times will come at the appearance and return of Lord Jesus Christ. We know that the earth will one day suffer the fate of sodom and gomorrah and we are to stand in the gap for the souls of man and not to make Sodom and Gomorrah a just and clean place to inhabit.
The world will continue in its depravity. Even our Singapore. How then should we pray ? we should pray in light of the Great Commission knowing also that in the last days men are lovers of themselves........At the end of the day, they have to make the decision. Yes, we are to intercede in and with love for them, that the veil that blinds them be remocved. But when all have been done, its left to him or her alone. WHatever decision they make.
However, we shouldn't be disilussuioned that the world does not become to church. For the Kingdom of God is not of this world. It would seem we are fighting a losing battle with so much secularism around us. We are called to bring lost souls to CHrist and not set up His Kingdom on earth. If it were the case He would have done it while He was on Earth. His Kingdom is Spiritual as God is spirit and eternal. Lost souls are our objective. Kingdom on Earth is the Lord Jesus's. When he would want to do it is His business.
ENd of the day, God is not mocked. Men will have to ansxwer for their deeds. For out side are Dogs, Adulterers.....The wages of sin is death. In the last days men are lovers of themselves
Therefore be sober and vigiliant for the devil is like a roaring lion prowling to seek whom he may devour. To steal, kill and destroy. Be sober and follow the Lion from the Tribe of Judah.
So whatever path a man chooses, he will answer for it. The Lord appeals to the unjust. He appeals to the filthy. But if they reject the salvation of the Lord, then the Lord say, 'let them be unjust still, let them be filthy still'. As much as He loves them willingly, He will not condescend and pander to their unrighteousness. But and therefore those who are Holy let them be Holy Still.
Depending from whose point of view , a world of lust could be a fun place or a nightmare.
The souls of men will get worst and worst led astray by the devil. We are in a way not called to fight against it for the sake of fighting it. For end time event will have to unfold as recorded in the bible. Not unless if it stands in between the lost soul and the church. Then we are to fight in the spiritual realm, against principalities and power. The church is not called to stop the wars, the famines, the pestilences and the earthquake but to preach the Gospel.
