In the morning I was captivated by the picture at the top while I was reading TODAY. Incidentally where this picture was copied.
The second picture on the right appeared to me while I was visiting a friend in Cold Storage Jelita. The picture was the front cover of a 1998 "daily bread". 5 Years old is this booklet. And I was given it today.
"Have you visited the treasuries of the snow, or seen where hail is made and stored ? For I have reserved it for the time when I will need it in war"
The Lord uses the enviroment, the geography and weather to affect the plans of man. Hitler could have invaded Russia and history would be very different if he were not stopped becasue of severe weather condition.
Seek the Lord while you can find him. Let men cast off their wicked deeds; let them banish from their minds the very thought of doing wrong !
Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy upon them, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon !
This plan of mine is not what you would work out, neither are my thoughts the same as yours !
For just as the heavens are higher than yours, and my thoughts than yours.
As the RAIN and SNOW come down from Heaven and stay upon the ground to water the earth and cause the grain to grow and to produce seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry,
so also is MY WORD. I send it out and it always produces fruit. It shall accomplish all I want it to, and prosper everywhere I send it. You will live in joy and peace. The moutains and hills, the trees of the field - all the world around you - will rejoice. Where once briars grew, the myrtle trees will sprout up. This miracle will make the Lord's namevery great and be an everlasting sign of God's power and love.
COME, see the glorious things that our GOD does, how he brings ruin upon the world, and causes wars to end throughout the Earth, breaking and burning every weapons.
"Stand Silence ! KNOW THAT I AM GOD ! I will be honoured by every nation in the world.
