| Here are a few of my poems and some random quotes. Some poems might be works in progress. I love to write. It's my way of escape. |
| Life so fragile So suddenly can slip away. Darkeness falls As the light begins to fade. Sorrow fills the hearts Of those left behind. Comfort lost in a moment. Now impossible to find. Fears come to life That once weren't there; Listening to the sound Of a heart beginning to tear. Today could be the last. Tomorrow never to be seen. "Please don't let that happen" Is my silent scream. I have to tell my friends I love then one more time. Before my life is over With the drop of a dime. I'm scared of the tears. Scared of leaving you here. Then I'll be all alone. With everything to fear. But the pain of this life Can be too much to take. The day; a continuous smile That I must fake. I can't leave yet, So tomorrow I must face. Left with a broken heart Alone in this place. |

| I chased a dream of you today. It lead me past lost smiles And faded dreams. I remembered fallen tears And felt old pains. My heart felt alive with love As I heard your voice. I felt the wings of an angel Wrap around me. The memory faded into the light And I reached out to capture it. To hold it in my heart For safe keeping. And another memory fluttered by Bringing with it a smile That has yet to fade away. |

| The starry heavens Send down this love And fill my eyes with Light so pure that it creates Perfect bliss. When my fear is Wrapped in darkness and Strength turned to ashes, The angels sing and Restore life in my soul. When the shadows of my heart Cast itself over my mind; Controlling my thoughts, He comes and takes my hand To lead me back to simplicity. Guiding me with his heart Drying my falling tears He wakes me from my dream While wrapping his wings about me Never again to let go. |
| I think I started this poem to enter into a scholarship contest, but I didn't finish it in time. It doesn't have a title because I'm not good with titles. But this is my latest one. |
