Just a quick note to remind everyone that this galaxy is a democracy,if you want to vote for me or anyone else for GC in the affairs section,feel free to do so,there is no reason why everyone should not have their say.On a similiar point I will take this opportunity to say I disaprove of Odin calling himself 'Staff' on the overview screen and using that briefing box as a way of asking people to vote for him.Things like that have their place on the politics board,and that is where I believe they should stay.
PS-I have 5 votes as of 7.16 GMT,any support in my run for GC would be appreciated.

Actually it was the ever loved Jenos that posted that request, when odin updated it he changed it from -MoW to -Staff.

Either way its not right or fair to use the overview place as a political forum.

Ringwood. Listen, you seem to have this craving for power. First you accused this governemnt of false corruption. You fail. Second, you run for the position of MOW and lose in a fair way. Now you're trying to change the governemnt at the END OF THE ROUND. We have a few weeks left at most. Has the government not done a good enough job for you? We tried to defend you as many times as you got attacked but it was near impossible. We can't defend everyone all of the time. Also, you must have some very good reason as to why you want to be GC. What would you change? Just make a suggestion! We'll try anything out that makes sense. Bottom, this governemnt has worked pretty well this round, so why screw with a good thing?

if people are not happy with the government in this galaxy then its clear that it has not been working as well as you claim, the fact that if odin loses a single vote more he will be dislodged from power emphasises the fact that people are not happy and it is time for a change, if this is true democracy then we are allowed to voice our opinions as we please and direct our support behind whoever we wish to lead us as GC.

Simple he is power hungery, He was always angry at me for getting the job of GC at the beginning of the round. I remember him demanding a ministry position and when I refused to just let anyone into a ministry area he became really angery. I changed the message as For some reason I think my staff likes me. Now that is a message from us, I would like people to vote for me. It would be if I mailed people asking them to vote a certain way. Same thing.

Seeing how you have never wanted to be a member of this gal I have a few problems with you. Where are you defence, last time I saw my alliance has continously protected you. Ask 147:22:2, he lost many ships at your planet. Then all the defense we have given you but you have only defended once that I can see. I have seen your ships run when we heavily outnumbered the attackers to. Now were are your allies when you got attacked?

Further more, I'll say this you have made me a little angry first off if I see you swear again I will report it on site (that goes to everyone). Now if your interested in becoming the GC state exactly why that is so. I don't see how telling people to vote for you with out reason will help, I have shown myself as someone who defends others, I listen to what others say, and further more I don't accuse people of things when it isn't true.

As Reaver said this is a democracy.I do not have the time or inclination to repute your accusations.However good which you all the best of luck in reporting people to PA crew for swearing,obviosly you now see yourself as a vigilante as well as a member of Staff.

In the rules it says don't say anything offensive. I'm sorry to find a person swearing offensive, but I do, I don't like it, sorry it goes against my values to swear.

I still feel in an election for a position of power such as GC you should state why you want the position.

Sorry I just wouldn't vote for somebody if I didn't know why they wanted to be GC and why they think they could do it as a better job then the current one. I think it is a simple courtasy.

Yay I also value other opion, however I would really value somebody who actually defends people in their own galaxy. For some reason I just had to bring that up.

Sorry if I don't exactly know, but how does me asking people to vote for me on the overview screen make me into a dictator. I'm not forcing their vote I'm asking for it. Oh by the way the screen is message from the commander, as I'm the commander I'm allowed to give a message that I want. However I still don't see how that makes people vote for me. If you could explain that I would appreciate it greatly.

I know that I am new to this galaxy but i think that Moonraker is right in the fact that odin is using his advantage as GC unfairly to brainwash people into voting for him. but i also believe that though moonraker has a point there is no point of messing around in politics this late in the round so why doesnt everyone stop this petty arguement and in the next round start srambling for power!

To put this to rest I was in a crappy gal that no one helped each other with, every one was on their own, and my gal faced this same problem. So I came here to be in a good gal where help was just a click away! but RingWood, u are a moron! many a time have we all came to help u! and now u want to change the gov! u sir are dumb in my book so I will not deen to any more of your baseless acutions of a corrupt gov. Also Odin being GC has done many things for this gal. My vote still stays for odin.

*sighs* i see El Guapo of Santa Damiana has been learning some rude words and of course being as childish as he is would rather use them against moonraker than a structured political argument, this conversation has rapidly degenerated from a political debate into a name calling match which is hardly worth commenting on, please explain to me exactly what are odins strengths and what he has done for our galaxy and then i will give a counter-argument, ok kiddies?

If you can't see it for yourself.

1.I have brought to the galaxy many allies (look at the banner for 2 major ones) I might ad that xwa only supports galaxies that have one of it members leading it.

2.Look at defense, I have arranged a lot of it. (so has Jenos)

3.I have let people have a say in the galaxy, I let them pick the MoW I didn't say a word to who I wanted so I could affect their vote.

4.I have set in place rules that keep out farms (the galaxy hated the first one), and keep up defense.

5.The taxes are extremely small, and easy to keep up with.

Oh Dark Reaver I asked Ringwood to do the same thing but he refuses.
