My School Days
I began Kindergarten in 1965 at St Kevin's Catholic School, Dee Why . There were over 70 children in the class. Our teacher was Sister Vearker.

In 1966 I moved to Dee Why Public Primary School which I attended until 6th Class in 1771
In 1972 I began High School at Mater Maria Catholic Girls High School at Warriewood where I remained until 4th Form in 1975. The school was run by the Good Samaritan nuns. St Honorius was our principal.

Teachers included: Sister Julia, Sister Jude, Sister Margaret Mary. Mrs Burns, Miss Johns [later Mrs?] Mrs Spiteri, Mrs Hannigan.
At the end of 1975 I moved to Queensland and continued my remaining two years of schooling at Frawley College, the co-ed branch of the De La Salle and Brigidine schools at Scarborough.

I completed Grade 12 in 1977.
