| �So thanks for tonight Kyle,� I say as he walks me to my door �That okay I hope everything works out with you and that loser Guerin� �Thanks Kyle� I say deep down having a feeling that Michael and me will never be. �So I guess you�re not going into the whole first date good night kiss?� Kyle asks with a teasing grin. I roll my eyes at him and give him a look that says �Don�t you guys thing of anything else� �Good night Kyle� �Oh come on Evans you can�t blame a guy for trying� �Good night Kyle� �Okay how about a kiss on the cheek? A kind of a thank you� Kyle pushes on �Fine if it will shut you up. Okay lets try this again. Good night Kyle� �Good night Maria� I lean over and brush my lips across his cheek just as the front door opens to reveal Michael and Max both of whom make a kinda growl sound when they see us on the doorstep. �Busted!� Kyle says with glee as he pulls back �Glad you can see the funny side of things. Maria in now!� Max orders while glaring at Kyle �Max�� I whine �In the house now� Max says strongly �Bye Kyle� I push past Max and make sure not to come into any skin on skin contacts with Michael no make that any type of contact. Eye contact, touching contact nothing. I walk into the family room and sit beside Isabel on the couch. �How was it?� she asks looking up from her magazine no wait make that my magazine �Fine� I say grabbing the magazine. Isabel rolls her eyes �So what did you do?� she asks �We�� �Maria get here now,� Max shouts from the kitchen �Wish me luck� �You�re going to need more then luck� �Thanks a lot Isabel that really gives me a warm feeling inside� I lie �You�re welcome.� �Maria!� Max shouts again �Yeah, yeah I�m coming� I walk slowly into the kitchen with Isabel following me not wanting to miss Max having a go at me �Maria want to explain what you and Kyle were doing when Michael and me opened the door,� Max asks coldly. I bet Kyle is really upset that he can�t see Max pissed �I was thanking him for a nice night� I say avoiding the kiss �So you thank every one with a kiss� Max ask I just knew he would let this drop �No and it was one little kiss on the cheek� I defend myself �I don�t even know why I let you go out with him in the first place� �Max you didn�t let me do anything. I a big girl I can do what I want� �Maria I don�t think it�s a good idea for you to get involve with a human let alone Kyle� I look at my brother in disbelief �So its alright for you and Isabel to see humans but not for me� �That�s different Liz and Alex know about us� �What Alex got to do with this?� I ask confusedly. Isabel looks guilty at the floor �Oh my god you and Alex are�� I say when it finally dawns on me �Well kinda of� Isabel says shyly �You and me are having a long talk about this tomorrow� I say pointing my finger at her and she nods �Are we done?� I ask Max with a pleading tone �We talk more later just promise me one thing you won�t see Kyle again� �I promise I won�t date Kyle again but that doesn�t mean I am not going to be his friend� �Fine� �Night� �Night� I walk up the stairs to my bedroom and quickly get dress into my favourite pjs before climbing under the covers.
