| �Guys this is Maria. You know I told you about her. The new girl I�m suppose to lead around. Well anyway, Maria this is Liz and Isabel." �Hi. Incase your wondering I�m Liz and that�s Isabel. How are you finding it so far?� Liz smiled at Maria making her feel more comfortable. �It�s a little hectic, being the first day and all but it�s ok.� Maria stood in an awkward silence. Suddenly Tess spoke up. �So how was your summer Maria?� Maria smiled remembering. �Oh well I met this guy actually.� �Oh really. This is the kind of story I like.� Tess leant forward and rested her chin on her hand. Liz also showed an interest and looked up from her book. Isabel however continued to file her nails. �Well he was really sweet and caring. He wasn�t like some of the jerks I knew. Real genuine.� �Was he hot?� Tess interrupted �Yeah. He was really nice. He had these eyes that could just look right into your soul you know? I think I fell in love with him.� Maria blushed despite herself. �So, what happened?� Tess prodded again. Maria looked at her hands and whispered sadly.�He had to go home. He was on vacation.� �So, what was his name?� ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After the group had dispensed, Michael proceeded to ask Kyle what the matter was. �What�s up Kyle? You don�t seem yourself.� �Nothing.� Michael looked at Kyle sceptically. �It�s just being back at school. Teachers, detentions, you know how it is.� Michael nodded. Kyle didn�t like where this conversation was headed so he changed the subject. �So you going to Area 51 tonight?� �Is there anything else to do in this crappy town?� �You got your eye on Isabel Evans huh?� �Me and her had a little thing going before vacation so I was lookin maybe to pick it back up. Nothing serious just you know, messing around.� Kyle nodded. Michael Guerin was not a guy who was into serious relationships. It was one girl one week, then another the next. Isabel Evans was known to be the same and she always gave out. But for as long as he could remember Michael and her always had this undercurrent of something more than just a little fling. It wasn�t love or anything like that, but there was something there. He supposed it was just the fact that she was popular and so was Michael. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ �Your kidding right?� Tess asked shocked. Isabel had looked up from her nails and also looked shocked. Liz just looked sympathetic. �Why? What?� Maria asked confused. �You�ll never believe this...� �- but we have plenty of really sweet and caring guys here at Roswell.� Isabel finished for her. Tess looked at Isabel with bewilderment. Isabel just smiled back with a look that said �follow my lead�. �Um, ok.� Maria looked at Isabel as if she were insane. One minute she was an ice cold bitch, the next she was trying to be nice. One thing Maria knew for sure was that Roswell was definitely weird. �Yeah you just might meet a really sweet and caring guy tonight at Area 51.� At Maria�s look of confusion Isabel carried on. �It�s this small club type thing. Trust me everyone goes there. It�s the only half decent place in this crappy town.� Maria simply nodded. �Ok then. We'll all meet at Tess� tonight.
