Ones that leave me tingling. But the suprising thing is, they aren't about Max. They're about Shawn. Today, I walked out of the locker room, ready for work, feeling life would never start without him. Max. But then as I reached Maria, someone came through the cafe's door. I raised my head, hoping that it would be Max. But instead, I got something that made me, well, suprisingly happy. It was Shawn. I stared at him, mesmerized. I feel like this is my chance to finally start over, finally have something new, and exciting. Maria then said something. Only I didn't hear her. Shawn was staring at me, this weird look on his face. He then said,Liz. I managed to say Shawn, as calm as I could. He then said, All grown up. I like it. All grown up, I like it? Is that good? I mean, is it? All I know is that I have these feelings for him, and the strange thing is, I don't feel guilty. Me and Max are over with. And I feel as if I'm changing, growing, and I like it. A lot. "And I will always love you, oh, will always love you, you, my darling you, bittersweet memories, that is all I'm taking me with me".-Whitney Houston, I Will Always Love You The Crashdown Cafe-A day later It was Sunday morning, no-one in here but a few regulars sipping some coffee. I sat at the counter, finishing a project that I had for science. Suddenly I heard the sound of the bell, there was a customer. I did the finishing touches on the project and then turned to see who had come in. It was Shawn and he was already sitting in a booth. I smiled then. This was my chance to talk to him. See what was going on with him. Not much, I thought, he just got out of prison. I walked over, smiling at him. He was staring at me, this smirk on his face. "What"?, I asked, curious as to what he was thinking. "I'll have the alien blast", he replied, trying to act cool. "Sure, anyo--thing else you'd like?", I then blushed, what was I saying? He looked at me, smiling like he knew something I didn't. "Well......", he said, pausing for a moment, "how about you"? I was speechless. Here he was asking me, well what exactly was he asking me? "Excuse me?", I said. "What I mean is, would you like to go on a date or something, catch up on old times"?, he said, staring at me with those wonderful brown eyes of his. "Sure", I said, grinning like an idiot. " I think that'll do", he then paused, "when do you have a break"? "Why do you ask?", I asked, hoping that he would ask me to join him. And that's just what he did. "Well, I was thinking that maybe we could have that date, well, right now, seeing that I'm free and all", he replied. I laughed to myself. I wondered what Shawn really had to do except bug me, you know, he had just gotten out of jail, what could he possibly do but annoy me and Maria? Of course I didn't think he was annoying I thought he was, well, great. I told him that I was going to get his order and then I would be right back to start our.......what is it called? oh yeah, date. TBC........ On the next 'When Your Eyes Say It'- "I love you Liz, I don't care about the mistakes we've made, those are all in the past. I know I agreed to be friends, but it's unbearable to see you with this guy. This Shawn guy. You belong with me.....only me", Max says, and then pulls Liz in for a kiss............. "Are you always this shy with guys?", Shawn says, laughing at the way Liz looked. "What?", she asked. "Nothing, you just look so beautiful, doing that thing, you know, with your hair", Shawn said, and then started laughing. "So I deserved to be laughed at?", Liz says smiling at the thought of Shawn calling her beautiful and then she hits him with a pillow............ ** MAX HAS A FLASH WHEN KISSING LIZ** *"I've never seen the cards fall like this before. The boy, he's diffrent", the lady said. "Yeah", Liz said. "He's very important, this boy. A leader", the woman continues. "Yeah, he has this whole other destiny...one that doesn't include me", Liz responds reassuringly. "No. He chooses love", the woman states. "What?", Liz says, suprised. "He chooses you", the woman tells her.* **Max recieves more flashes** *Liz is in her room, pretending she's wearing a wedding dress. "I , Liz Parker, take Max Evans to be...", Liz is cut off by thunder, and someone that looks a lot like Max crouching at the window."Liz.", the older Max says. "Max?", Liz says, stunned.* Max pulls away. "Liz, what was that?", Max asks to a crying Liz. TBC |
