Life

Kate delivers a baby in the Nomad, mid air. Later at the hospital Geoff sees how
Kate loves holding the baby.

SCENE 1

Geoff and Kate are stood in their living room.

GEOFF: I saw you with the baby today.
KATE: Geoff!!
GEOFF: I�m not knocking it. I think it�s a great idea!
KATE: Yea, maybe, one day.
GEOFF: We�re not getting any younger!
KATE: Will you stop going on about it!
GEOFF: (laughing) What did I say? Are you getting clucky?
KATE:Yes alright, alright. Anyway it might seem like a good idea but are you
going to be the one to wash the nappies and fold them.
GEOFF: I�ll even change them.
KATE: Oh you couldn�t change a nappy if you tried!
GEOFF: Blindfolded.
KATE: I�ll hold you to that one day!

SCENE 2

Geoff and Kate are in their bedroom. Kate is sat on the edge of the bed and
Geoff is kneeling on the floor, blindfolded, trying to put a nappy on a pillow!

KATE: No, no, that�s not how you do it! Oh Geoff, you spent all those years at
Medical School.
GEOFF: I�m just practicing. This is just a practice run, alright?
Kate is laughing at him.
KATE: No, that�s not how you do it!!
GEOFF: Alright Miss smarty pants, you show me.
Geoff rips off the blindfold and throws the pillow down on the floor.
KATE: (laughing) I�ll show you alright!
She pulls Geoff onto the bed and they roll around laughing.
GEOFF: I�ll show you something I can do blindfolded!!!
Kate roars with laughter as Geoff slaps her bottom! They lie together and start
to kiss.
