Half a world away, night has fallen and something
special is about to happen. In fact, it happens
virtually every night in the whole world. But only
now and then, does it touch a person's life personally.
I'm a day ahead and busy climbing up
Huangshan. Sweat pouring and muscles aching. I've reached
the Brightness Top (Guangming Ding) and we're
looking for accomodation for the night. Being on top,
though, was an exhilirating feeling. There were vistas
galore on every side--a moment in time.
In Richmond, a new life has entered the world. I could only
imagine the cries of a helpless little human and a mother
who's totally exhausted, relieved, and overjoyed at the
same time. Sweat pouring and muscles aching.
Kaitlyn Alycia Lam made her debut that evening. An
entire pregnancy has been completed without me even
being there. My sister stays overnight. A peaceful rest.
We've found a good, clean place to stay for the night.
A little expensive, but for being on the mountain top, we'll
take it. The climbing requires an immediate rest. I
lay my head down. A peaceful rest.
