Elis Song

This song was first released on the Spirit album. It is the only album it has been released on.

Born in the month of June
No silver spoon to help you out
Your Mother had you naturally
Naturallys the way you came out

You know your your own mind
And you show it to me
Give me the high sign
When you want to be free
And open up my eyes
To the wonders that you see

See the airplane fly
See the trees rush by
Be brave and strong when you hurt yourself
And dont you have a worry in the world

For the love thats been given you
Is the one thing time cant erase
And evryday its growin
Like the knowin smile upon your face

Youre startin out strong
You get a kick out of life
You like to sing songs
Be in the spotlight
And when everybodys watchin you
You shine so bright

See the airplane fly
See the trees rush by
Be brave and strong when you hurt yourself
And dont you have a worry in the world

You know your your own mind
And you show it to me
Give me the high sign
When you want to be free
And open up my eyes
To the wonders that you see

See the airplane fly
See the trees rush by
Be brave and strong when you hurt yourself
And dont you have a worry in the world

Words and Music by Jack Williams
Well, crap...it's been so garsh darn long since I made a newsletter update that I don't even know what to say!

Danny did home school this winter.  I can't exactly remember when we pulled him out, but it seems sorta like he didn't go back after Christmas maybe....
He hasn't been sick at all yet KNOCK ON WOOD!
It'll be the first time in about 5 years if we make it all winter!
He's been busy trashing out the house and tearing all his socks up ( I know that's a weird one, but all his socks now have a hole at the bottom just as big as at the top...maybe he's protesting not going anywhere, or maybe he's just fascinated by wrecking socks....geeesh!)
Summer is on again off again with her boyfriend Donny.
They broke up before Christmas and it was hell to pay! Sorta didn't know if she would live through that one or not! But now this month they are on again so it seems...We'll see!  Her grades have been a struggle all year!  She is in danger of being removed from the Magnet Option if she gets one more D....We'll see about that one too!  I didn't put an application in for a high school magnet because I know the school that I apply to will request her last report card from her current school and there hasn't been one good enough yet!  That sort of make the 9 week grading periods really suck because if you messed up your marking period you've messed up 1/4 of the year! I have no idea how that one will turn out, but I'm trying my best to keep her turning in her papers.  Her ISTEP still had great scores on it, it's the daily work she's missing bunches of...Her Algebra looks like what I was doing in Algebra 2 in the Eleventh grade so I cannot even check her papers because I have no idea how to do it!!
so we will wait and see if Danny gets sick and we will wait and see if Summer makes it out of the 8th grade dead or alive!
The Thrill of Danny's Summer...
Jason Jarrett's Nascar was parked right down 30th street during the BrickYard...
he LOVED it...
UNTIL....
they started it for him!!
But we wanted him to KNOW that Nascars are LOUD!!
Summer n  Donny--On again --- Off again-- On again ---I hope not off AGAIN!!!
Some other news.....Chris got a computer and got online sometime around Christmas or shortly after and now Carl Vernon has done the same....I'm beginning to feel like Microsoft Tech support these days....But they both have Windows ME and I do not...I still got win98 SE and don't think I wanna give it up just yet! Seems windows is always full of glitches in the first version!

I got a CD burner and have spent absolute gobs of time burning cds for everyone and three of their brothers!  Have spent A GREAT DEAL of time on Napster....I keep thinking it's going to go down any day and I better get everything I possibly can before that happens...staying up day and night searching and finding.....but they never do go down....so I continue to search and find...I have found some absolutely unbelievable John Denver on there...stuff from 1966...shoot...he was never heard of then!! and I wonder what it was recorded with?!! Now I can honestly say that I got more mp3s than carter got liver pills...I'm just not so good at organizing them and never know where the one that I need to find is!!!

My camera got royally busted so I haven't been able to take any more pictures!  I've had it for about 13 years...I let the kids use it and that's all she wrote!  really heartbreaking as that sucker costed me over $400.00 then...but is probably cheaper now because the features are more widely used on cameras...wanted to get a digital camera with our tax check...but....we decided to get Judy a computer so that her and the kids can email and such...but....we got it at a place that sells refurbished computers and their idea of a SCSI card and my idea of one are two totally different concepts...so I'm begging guru gary to come over and take the scsi card I was using out of Danny's and put in Judy's because although the shop INSISTED that the zip drive was a parallel connection, it is not detected plugged into there and I know that sucker is scsi!  So is the scanner whose port we stole to hook it to Danny's!

Because the hard drive on the computer we are sending her is only 1.18 gigs I really need to get that zip drive to hook to it or they'll explode in the first month!  So now there's a computer sitting spread across my coffee table...also one in the kitchen as we had had the Mac tested to see if it could do the online thang and it cannot so I figured I'd get it set up and give to Summer's best friend Angie to learn to type on....that it can do!  But I'm thinking first I got to remove all the online crap off it as it only has a whopping 345mb hard drive!!

I went through a huge graphics phase this winter and collected a bazillion graphical thangs....too many to sort through as usual...fonts and tubes and all sorts of programs and such...I even scanned about 440pages of a paint shop pro 6 book...got it done just after psp7 was released....go figger!

Seems my doctor finally found a 'recipe' to cure my sinuses for the most part.  he has given me Allegra-D and Duratuss G (1200mg) twice a day each after a major sinus explosion that caused a great deal of pain last November...but last week I ran out of the Duratuss and figured that was it since he gave it to me when I was sick and all....man...two days later I was dying...so I went back today and he gave me more saying it was indeed safe to keep taking it...just if I get better like I had been before I ran out of stuff to go to one of each a day instead of 2...would be nice if that would fix it!  didn't have any sinus infections this winter....This Dr does an x-ray on my head first before he decides if or not to give antibiotics...which is safer as there were times with my old dr that I would take 3 different antibiotics in a row and still be sick! (sick of antibiotics more than anything!)

Tim has just been working and working...he does his little bowling thing on Tuesday nights (air hockey machine kinda bowling) and he watches cops and nascar and wrestling on tv and that's about it....We were totally devastated about Dayle Earnhardts death as he was and has been Tim's man forever...I just cannot imagine how Theresa Earnhardt feels watching her son climb into that car every week now! I surely couldn't do it....Seems Tim's new man must be Kevin Harvick driving Earnhardts car!  He sure did good last week!  We really hope he keeps the good job up and I'm glad Tim still watches with us even though it must be painful for him not to be able to shout his Intimidator on!  I found lots of tribute songs on Napster (which there were tons of at that time) and made Tim and friends a tribute cd...but none of us can listen to it without crying!

Anyways that's probably all the news I got...mostly computer stuff huh?  That's because everyone in the family and neighborhood is getting involved with them....

Lots of Love, Peace, Health, Hope and Happiness
