Link was first introduced in the game The Legend of Zelda, released in 1986. It became a videogame legend and left the crowd begging for more. So two years later Nintendo made The Legend of Zelda:The adventure of LINK. The public liked it but not as much as the origanal, because dungeons and towns were side-scrolling. When nintendo made the super nes, Link made a comeback in The Legend of Zelda:A Link to the Past. I think it was released in 1992.Once again he was a house hold name and it only got better. On gameboy in 1994 The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening was made. It was called the best gameboy game and I think still is, there was a Dx remake for GB Color. In 1998 Links finest game was released. The Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time. His 3D game was a hit and 325,000 copies were reserved just so people could have it the day they put it on shelves. Obviously Nintendo had ideas for another game Like OoT. Thus Links 2nd N64 hit Majora's Mask made it big like Oot, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask was released in 2000.
