Most glass etching these days are done by lasers.
Not here!!

These are done by hand by the artist Southpaw.

Some are drawn free hand right on the glass then hand etched. Some are copied from Southpaws drawings then hand etched onto glass. The mirrors are done this way.

Though similar no 2 are exactly alike makeing them highly collectable.

Item name is Stemware glass.
This stemware glass is hand drawn on the glass then hand etched. Pattern wraps all the way around glass. It has a gold rim. About 7 inches tall. Use it as a wine glass or for tea,soda,anything you like. It is sure to bring a touch of ellegance to any table you set. Signed and dated on bottom by Southpaw. Item name is Kingfisher Lamp
You wont find this anywhere else. This is one of Southpaws mirror lamps. It is about a 9x9 inch octagon beveled edge mirror. The picture of a Kingfisher was drawn by southpaw then transfered to the mirror and hand etched into the back of it. The border is hand etched onto the front and signed with date on front of mirror. By etching the picture into the back of the mirror it gives depth and stops distortion of the picture from mirror reflections.
The light base is made of wood and sealed. The light fixture with cord can be removed in case down the road it stops working for some reason so you can replace it. The light bulb unscrews so you can replace it when it burns out. The mirror rests in the base so you can take it out to clean or display it in other ways you might want to. With the light on or off this mirror lamp is not only unique and lovely, but usefull. An affordably work of art at only $65.00 plus $10.00 shipping. It will be sent insured.

Item name is Lighthouse lamp.
This lighthouse is done the same way as the Kingfisher. It is done on a 4x4 inch square beveled edge mirror and comes with the wood lamp stand. $35.00 plus $10.00 shipping.
