Joe Hahn met Mike Shinoda during College at the Pasadena Arts Center.  Both Mike and Joe loved rap.  But Joe was more interested in the sounds behind the rapping.  He was amazed by the different sounds he heard.  Joe imidiatly found his way into the band.  During the time before the band really took off he designed special effects for movies.

-Directed and Produced many of LP's videoss
-He loved rap, but loved more the amazing sounds and beats behind it
-makes up stuff about linkin park when tallking to fans
