Here is where we pour our heart and soul out to you. Not really, but you can pretend it is. So read on if you dare, maybe you'll find something of interest. Then again, maybe not.
Guess what? The power's been out for 3 days (and couting...). That's right folk's, I haven't been online for an ungodly number of days. I'm at the library right now, getting in my dosage of artificial lighting and heat (the heat's off, too). And internet, of course. But I have to go...*sigh*. So maybe I'll update soon, in which case you'll know I got the power back *I GOT the POWE'!! You got the POWE'!!!* (<-song), or maybe I won't, in which case you'll know that I'm freezing my feet off in the dark, surrounded by candles like I'm in a badly made Daracula movie. Snork, snork.
Au revouir(sp?)! And...I hate this STUPID computer!!! Grrr....

HAPPY NEW YEARS!! That said, I move onwards....
It's been a month since I last updated. (Not that anyone's counting, but it makes me feel better to think that you are.) I just spent the day locked in the house because of a stupid cold/cough thing, and I'm just about ready to break down a wall. What I'd do to those cold viruses if I had the chance. (insert evil laugh here.)As you may have noticed, I have a serious case of cabin fever. I may have been one of the only people to have seen this, but remember The Muppet Treasure Island movie? They have this song called "Cabin Fever" in which they all dress in Hawaiian costume and dance to badly orchestrated music(which is the whole point of the song). Well, my day has been somewhat similar, if you substitute Hawaiian stuff with two annoying cats and the music with my over-due homework. Fun!
All in all, I've had a pretty good Christmas season. I went east to visit friends and family, which was nice. I spent Christmas eve and the first few hours of Christmas right outside of Buffalo, NY, stuck behind two miles of traffic. And that was before they had more than 2 feet of snow! Then, when I got back, I found that it had snowed up here in the fridged midwest! So I played in the snow a little with some friends for one of the first times. (I used to live in Southern California, so don't blame me.) Guess that's it for today's update after a MONTH of not having Web. Ah, it's great to be back online....
It's 2:15, America! Wake up and smell the coffee!!! Sorry, but I like night. Yeah, so, it's been about two weeks since I've been online. Seriously. I haven't been neglecting my duties as webmaster. *snort* Not that anyone really cares. So I'll just make believe that you all do.
Okay, in brief, Hannukah starts on Sunday, which is, I suppose, tomorrow. Cool! For those of you who don't know, I'm NOT actually Christian. *Gasp!* What a surprise, Shempae!! Yare, yare. Hm...I seem to get chatty when I'm sleep deprived. And not only am I sleep deprived, I'm hungry and I have yet more work to do. Onward, Jewish soldiers! Are you still following, me cherie? (yes, I don't care if I spelled that wrong. I don't like french or creole.) So now that I've written an entire 2 paragraphs of nothings, I'll say something real. I have not updated any other page. The new main page will be renovated soon, although it may well take a while. I've been pretty busy with all the crap they give us at school, so I don't have all that much time. Luckily, we have Christmas break coming up! (I don't even bother to call it Winter break or Holiday break, since this year it's ONLY for Christmas.) I may well have a few stories spun out by then. Actually, I have a new one, but it doesn't make much sense out of Griffenhagen's IDC. Oh well. I may put it up, or I may not. Just depends. And that's the end of my insesently chatty, horrible update! Sleep well, USA!!
I just had Thanksgiving. It was...interesting. I spent the entire time missing all the people I've moved away from, which is a bunch, as I won't explain. But I digress, what is Thanksgiving without family? Actually, as I found out last year, surprisingly pleasant. If you couldn't tell earlier, I'm not in a good mood. Strangely enough, Thanksgiving makes me think of past years when we had dinner with friends, instead of all alone. Oh well. Moving is usually like that.
Before I get too far into my self-pity, I want to say that, um...new links are up!! YAY!! Actually they're on the Stories and Fanfiction Page, and I have no idea why I just capatalized that. Hm....
So, yes, that's all there is today. Forever yours, my faithful listener. (Not really, but that's okay.)
It's a day until Thanksgiving. Joy. Sorry, but this Thanksgiving doesn't really mean much to me. Actually, I'm not really all that Thanksgiving-happy anyway. It's just another holiday. I know, I know, I should be thankful for all the things I have, but I don't really think of being thankful as just a one day chore. Seriously, most people are just like "Up, it's time for being thankful, even though I ALWAYS take everything for granted other days. But this day is special because long ago our forefathers DIDN'T eat turkey." (They may have, but it's highly unlikely that they did.)
I just spent the day with my friends. We played video games, went downtown, played video games, talked about various school topics, traded computer tips, and played video games. Oh yeah, and warded off vicious attacks by rabid parents wondering why someone(me) didn't call them. It was fun. *laughes insanely* Then we spent the rest of the time making science jokes (that were funny!!) about certain members of popular society in our school. (It's not OUR fault that they creat massive fronts of LOW PRESSURE!! And you won't understand that unless you have our science teacher, who insists that there is no such thing as suction, only reduced air pressure. You know where this is going....)
On to singing. We had to sing in school. Naturally, I didn't, but I lost points on my grade. Jeez, what a ripoff. Personally, I think that we shouldn't have done the asignment at all, because most of the people in our class are completely hopelessly tone-deaf. And then there's this one guy who sings sapranno, and I'm the only one in the entire class who finds that his voice puts my teeth on edge. Plus the fact that all his songs are about girls, love, sex, or a combination of the three. And now....I am done.
Let's just get this straight - NO ONE moves to Michigan for the weather. Let me explain: today was a nice day. Nice day by Michigan standards means that
1)It's not raining.
2)It's not snowing.
3)It's not hailing or sleeting.
4)It's a nice, balmy 40 degrees F.
Are you seeing the trend here? And guess what?? I got to strip paint off our deck today. There's nothing I'd rather do than strip lead paint of a rotting hunk of wood!! Well. To those of you who LIKE stripping paint of decks, caulking 3rd floor windows, cleaning leaves out of gutters, or sanding floors, I just want to say a heartfelt, "LOSER!!!" There. My rant is over.
Now on to more important business...ye-ah....I would like to say that I added a new fanfic, but I didnt', so I can't say it. (oh well) I just figured out that I've been wearing this shirt inside out for the past few hours. That probably says something about my observation skills. Or lack of them. It also might have something to do with the fact that I've been practicing my cello all morning (2-3 hours tops) and haven't really been paying attention to the outside world. Unfortunately, I had to stop because my fingers are raw (and almost bleeding) and it hurts to even type. Sniff. *guilt-trip* Oh, before you think that I'm someone who routinely practices for long streatches, let me clarify it for you. I do not usually practice for 2 hours. My most is usually hour 'n 15 minutes, but today I needed to get away from the family. (My brother did not get to go to the Harry Potter movie, so he's thrown a fit that has lasted two days.) Well, that's all for now. =I'm= going to go surf some. Jaa!
Okay, this is un-needed, but I want to write it anyhow. I haven't done anything, although I might in the near future. Right now I want to protest against bullying. Everyone thinks that it's always physical and that it's always the problem kids, but that's definitely not true. In fact, often times it's the "popular" crowd. While I have no problems with the majority of this crowd, there are a few people (in our school) that just irk me. Take Jyou Shmoe (Yes, I changed the name.): he's popular, athletic, and he has a facination with picking out the most unpopular kid in the class and earning their trust. This alone is great, if that was all he did. But NO, as soon as he gets them talking or whatever, he turns on them. Take today, he convinced this one girl to throw away a picture that she had spent at least an hour on!! *takes a deap breath* It would have been ruined, except that another girl in our class who plans to be a social worker (and it's no surprise, believe you me) snatched it out of the trash at the last second and saved it. It turned out that our art teacher loved the picture, so I guess Jyou wasn't as correct as he thought. *smug* And before I start rambling, I'd just like to say that if you see that happening, stop it. It's not fair, no matter how little you think it hurts.
I now realize why for all those years my father would groan every time we kids mentioned Holloween. Spending my first Holloween doing, of all things, cleaning gave me a look at how annoying it must seem to be a parent. Trying to get your work done with all those little bastards coming up and ringing your doorbell and asking for candy!! The nerve!! So, I've decided I dislike Holloween. (This is along with Christmas, so don't call me a religious nut.)
Before I go completely ballistic, I'd like to inform you of a few changes in the site. Due to Shempae, me, moving to the Midwest, Matt is no longer partaking in this site. You can reach him at The Brotherhood of Matt and Izzy. In case you couldn't figure it out, he's Matt. So if you're looking for stuff by him, don't come complaining to me. Go over there. Because of the school year starting up, I have less time to work on this site. I'm planning to add a rant page, as well as a few more shrines, but after that this site may become obsolete. You never know.
That's it for now. I promise another update, but it's not like anyone cares anyway....
