The Story

A long battle between the "Earth and Jupiter" in vie each other to get possession of ancient Mars ruins, ended as a cease-fire..
This is a new type of Sci-Fi anime with interesting romance and comedy aspects.  It introduces a very modern spaceship, pretty girls and robots in very unique ways.  Also unexpected things happen in Nadesico like, "Gai Daigoji" dies in Volume 1 and in "Nadesico the movie", "Yurika" and "Akito" gets killed.  I don't know what the FUCK the creators are smoking because MAD people like "Yurika" and maybe "Akito".  So anyway the story takes place in the year 2000's when a new nation called the "World Union" has just formed on the newly colorized Mars.  Suddenly, Mars is attacked by the "Jupiter Lizards" (an unmanned spacecraft).  When the Jupiter Lizards then threaten to attack the Earth, the World Union decides to dispatch the "Nadesico" from a public coporation in order to save Mars.
With it's release in US, Nadesico is bound to gain greater popularity with it's unique blend of action, drama, mecha, wackiness and of course pretty girls.
