This is indeed a year of grace. I am not just talking of grace by GRACE--GOD'S GRACE.  With four Lingkod members professing their vows, an incoming novice and two more prospective vowers all happening in the same year,  I can only raise my hands to the heavens.
     Sis Irene Argao,SSPSAP of Makati now blushes in her pink gown after professing her first temporary (good for one year, subject to renewal  in the next four to five years) vows last May 12.  She is at the St Joseph's  Convent the Sisters Servant of the Holy Spirit of Perpetual Adoration (Pink Sisters for short).
    Bro. Frank Savadera, SJ must be happier twice over than our two vowers, because his profession is not just  temporary but one for the rest of his life.  Last May 31 I witnessed, in very solemn celebration of the Holy Eucharist Frank got permanently hitched with Jesus.  "Kay Kristo buong buhay, habay buhay!"  Now that sound's very CYAish!      
            Then on June 4, it was the turn of Frater Alan Bondoc , SVD to offer his response to God's first and unconditional offer of love.  If you are asking why?  Then, the song he and his classmates sang gives a clue.  The song is: Love is the Answer!
Last of our newly professed Lingkods is a "lost'" CYA brother CYA brother from Laguna.  I call Frater Ruel Lero, SVD "lost" because although I have known for three ago  and we even share the blessing having the same Spiritual Director, I only knew  he was actually from CYA.  Only that he had to move to Singles for Christ because his parents are members of Couples for Christ.  Yes, that makes us four here with SVD. (But there is one more, Dodong Millan of Iligan who lives at the diocesan seminary of Mindoro and is now second year like Dindo and myself.
            Last here, is our Sister Maricris Licup, nFMM of SOLV.  I had a chance to visit her in their very "Franciscan" house in GMA, Cavite last month.  I could see that she is very happy following the One she loves most.  Of course her novitiate will be two years.  So, I invite you to remember her in your daily date with the Lord.
           Now, who are two?  I refer to Sis Mary Fides, OCD for her perpetual vows and Sis LenY Lugue, OHS for her first vows, both this October!  GOD WILLING!!!
