You're probably wondering "what the crap is the curse???" right? Well, the curse is a riddle. Don't laugh.
It is a confusing riddle that, when you hear it (or in this case, read it), you can't figure it out. You can't sleep at night
because you're thinking about the curse. You can't concentrate in school because you're thinking about the curse.
You can't do anything until you solve it. And so, you have been warned. Below is...the curse. Do not read it if you don't
think you can handle it. (P.S. for some of you this is going to be a ridiculously easy riddle. Just don't ruin it for the others)
Three men walk into a hotel to get a room. The clerk at the desk says that it will cost $30 dollars total. The men pay $10 each, and go up to their room.
Later, the clerk finds that he overcharged the men by $5. He sends a bellboy up to their room with the $5 to return to the men. The clerk sees this as an easy
opportunity to make $2, because he figures the men would have a hard time dividing up $5. So he pockets $2, and tells the men that the clerk only overcharged
them by $3. So the bellboy gives $1 to each man. Now, since each of the men paid $10 and got $1 back, they each paid $9. The total that the men paid was $27.
$27 plus the $2 that the bellboy took adds up to $29 dollars. Where did the other dollar go? *gasp*
