NEWS:
Well we're finally starting to emerge from the huge snowbanks here in Toronto.  It's been a very long, hard winter and thank God Spring is just around the corner!

Steve finished his South African tour of duty and has been back in Toronto since mid-December.  The three of us took off for a little fun-in-the sun in the Dominican Republic in January and had a great time re-bonding as a family.  It was a whole week of doing nothing but eating, sleeping and swimming.  Sora enjoyed her time on the beach and picked up a few Spanish words to add to her vocabulary.

But the big news is Sora's going to be a big sister!  That's right, we're pregnant with our second child who will be coming into this world sometime in September.  The estimated due date is September 25th which, oddly enough, was Sora's original due date as well.  So don't be surprised if this new baby arrives on or around Sora's birthday (September 14th).  No, we're not going to find out the sex of the baby so you'll all have to stay tuned in September to find out.  So far the pregnancy's going really well...no nausea, cravings, aversions or any side-effects at all.  Mom is feeling great and starting to sho a little pot-belly.  Sora's been a great big sister already by asking "is the baby still in there?" practically everyday and wanting to talk to the baby all the time.  We'll see how receptive she is of the baby when it really does arrive!

So part two of our plan is underway and Steve is starting to look for employment elsewhere.  We're really aiming for Europe this time.  So if all goes well, he'll end up somewhere like Italy and then Lil will take an early maternity leave and join him.  The new baby would be born a European citizen.

That's all for now.

Cheers!
