Linfield FC are very pleased to offer supporters the opportunity to rename the Kop Stand.
Through the Special Efforts Committee, Linfield are selling tickets priced £10 each with the following prizes on offer:
1st prize: The Kop Stand will be renamed after a supporter for the duration of the 2004/05 season, and a sign with the new name placed along the roof of the Kop Stand. The winner of this prize will also receive a family season ticket for 2004/05.
2nd prize: Five family season tickets for 2004/05 (one per winner).
3rd prize: Ten pairs of Director's box match tickets for a home game during 2004/05 (one pair per winner).
This is the first time that an Irish League side has offered supporters the opportunity to have a stand named after them. This is seen by Linfield not only as a way of raising vital funds for the Club, but it is also a genuine and real opportunity for one lucky supporter to have their name written into the Club's history.
Tickets will go on sale on January 10th at Linfield's home game against Portadown. The draw for the winning ticket will be made during the first home pre-season game of 2004/05. The stand will then be officially renamed at the first competitive game of 2004/05.
