Here is some Info. on my life in Thailand so far.

I've been in Bangkok for a little over four months. At first I found it a bit of a struggle to trust anybody, buy I gradually learnt who to trust and where were some interesting places to go to.

Some places that I have found quite interesting are:

MBK - Probably the biggest shopping centre in central Bangkok, There is a cinema, karaoke, restaurants, the Internet and bowling on the top floor, It's a 7 floor building, Many of the shops eg. the clothes shops, you can bargain for a cheaper price, however you need to be careful about the quality of some of the goods, as most of the goods display brand names illegally.

Dusit Zoo - I guess that was the first place I saw some elephants in Thailand, you probably won't see many animals in Bangkok (besides stay cats and dogs) unless you go to the zoo.

Department stores - World Trade Centre, Central, Emporium, Tokyu, Zen, and quite a few others - just to get out of the heat if anything.

I haven't been to any of Thailands Islands yet, but I would like to, as they have some of Thailands best attractions, that is, the beaches. If you have seen pictures of the beaches like Phuket, Ko Samui, Ko Samet, Phi Phi Island etc. then you would also most probably want to visit them.

The only beaches that I have been to are ones at Pattaya and Chon Buri, which are attached to the mainland. These beaches are not really good beaches to swim at, as they are quite dirty, with usually brown water, and quite a bit of pollution on the beaches. They are only around 2 hours drive from Bangkok.

To the top
