| I don't suppose raindrops Will ever cherish the clouds As much as my heart cherishes Your smile I see you as a child Walking with your mother You glance up at the sky Hoping something interesting Will pass by Yet nothing does And you cry A little more than yesterday I don't suppose rivers Will ever embrace the land As much as my soul Embraces your eyes You remind me of butterflies Dancing along the wind I admire your beautiful wings The way that your spirit sings You will always bring Me back to better days Back to better ways When I could love And be loved in return I know that someday You will find me Charming my way through an open ravine When river water was clear and pristine And I will marvel at your smile The one I remember with ease The one in my Visions of Memories |
