| You know It's been a while Since I could write the way I used to And it's been a while Since I could look at myself in the mirror and smile But at last it's come to this A blistering sustenance A complete and utter detachment And I spin around myself And I gaze upon myself And I silently cry to myself Screaming quietly Amongst the riddle of time How cliched my mind has become And the rain falls harder And the thunder roars louder And the lightening strikes faster And the tired fall further...from reality Have you experienced this mess? This cessation of perfect ideals These mindless stanzas of futile poetry Does it bother you? The spinning The buzzing The uncontrollable urge To fling yourself in front of at truck Or the bouts of anger The fits of tears The falling away from yourself Have you been tortured by it too? ...By this Vertigo? |
