| Vanilla Sky | ||||||

| I'd forgotten what color the sky was Until the clouds finally broke apart. Then a blue radience shown through And beams of light radiated through Between the thunderheads. God surely smiled on us today. It was a Vanilla Sky. So rich you could taste it. Then the Vanilla faded Into a succulent tangerine dream. The sweet juice tumbled toward the earth. I envisioned God pulling away the peel Revealing the sweet fruit below. I do believe he would have bit into us If the sun haden't faded so quickly Leaving us with a mountian Of translucent purple waves Encasing us with their mystical presence. I saw purity in the sky today. I saw the perfection of existence. I saw myself for the first time, In the presence of The Divine. |
