| The Wallflower | Back to poems | |||||
| She stands so gracefully Against the soiled walls Watching everyone evaporate into themselves Alone, but not afraid She delves into their minds She knows She finds herself in them She is disgusted Nobody should have to be what they hate She releases that thought It cannot be She will never be like them They are beneath her They seem unafraid But she knows better They are terrified Of her Because she knows herself She knows how to endure This affliction, this life Although she goes unnoticed ...She will be found She will be loved One day, this wallflower will blossom |
