| There's Only So Much | ||||||
| Depression is merely anger Minus the enthusiasm. And I am no longer That little girl Who would do anything For your smile. Every few nights You pop into my dreams. I can't get rid of you Like you got rid of me. Strange how laughter looks like crying Without sound And how raindrops taste like tears Without pain. When your heart gets broken, You start to see cracks in everything. Why is it That no matter how much pain Your heart endures by holding on It still refuses to let go? There's only so much heart in a girl to be broken. |
