| The Blessings of the Stars | ||||||
| If I sat on a hilltop for forty days And starved myself of necessary things I still could not describe Through all of my deliria How you are to me Some things just can't be explained Some love just can't be contained Through all of my toil One thing is for sure We are meant to be You are not my endpoint But my begining You are my resurrection My completion Do you ever wonder How many stars are out there? If they can see what we're feeling Or feel what we're seeing In that unpredictible moment The time when we can truely see Would be all the more exhilarating With the blessings of the stars They are what guide us Through all of our darkness They get us through The horrible fights The darkest nights The endless plights We make wishes by them We gaze upon them We find ourselves in them Our love resides in them, and in ourselves Through all of this I know One thing is for sure A night without stars Is not a night, but a hell we cannot fathom And a life without love Is nothing but a night without stars So do what is called of you Carry on with your life But never forget to stop and love For it will light up the night |
