| How is it that we endured those times? Now nothing will be the same. Sometimes balance requires the mass of others. But wishes for what was are dreams of dying. Sometimes this world spins cobwebs across my heart. That makes the dust harder to brush off. Have you ever noticed that Naive lips taste the sweetest? Or that in the end, truth is for sale? Force is occupying humanity In a way that I've never imagined. The minds eye no longer wide open. One day I hope to step out of the wind So I can breathe in all that it is. I need you more than oxygen. But everything needs something. I need a truth that can be deteceted on the tongue. For what good are we apart? You taught me to shake hands with heaven. Where stillness prevails Among humans forgtting their smallness. |
