| My soul is cut open Grains of me melt across the tired sand The sun buries me in eternity Burning my flesh I cry a little more now Tears more salty than the waves I reach for you out of old habit I forget sometimes that you are gone I'm tired of the foolishness that we called love What happened to us? The cold and betrayed water surrounds my feet It rises to my waist It's still not as cold as you I think I hate you a little bit now More than I hate the others You sucked the marrow out of my spirit Spit it into the waves Carelessly Dirtying my blue oblivion My dr(own)ing body |
