| Before the earth was formed With blue skies and lust I wanted you. There were no words for it then, Just a feeling, A longing for Something to satisfy my ravenous Desire. Before the days had a name And the nights had the stars I could taste you. The saltiness of your skin And the sweetness of your tongue Called out to me And I was yours. Before time and distance measured The boundless separation of our souls, I found sanctuary In your eyes. Before love was born, In depths we could not measure Exactly, I knew you, And I felt you, Somehow, Beyond the seas and the distance. Before we knew each other to be, In the vast, empty nothingness; Before gods, And before demons, There was only us, Existing perfectly together, Within each other. Before we even existed... I loved you. |
