| And in the End | ||||||
| I lie here beside you Mouth full of moonlight Quietly plagued by your urbane dimensions. Next to some dazzling lover Gods dreamt of you, while The earth expired. Where we frequently defy the laws of peace And civilizations drown mirthlessly In their own self-righteousness In the begining, all was forgotten. And in the end, it wasn't the wars That we remembered But the tired songs of those left beside us. The ones that hold us up Even when they are falling down. |
