Maric Ishar is a five thoughsand year old tombkeeper.He was given the task to carry the key to the pharohs power on his back and to guard the pharohs(Yami) tomb until his return.For when the pharoh(Yami) returns to the land of the liveing he will need his powers.Maric is also the second holder of the millenium rod.He was given the millenium rod by his father which was part of his birth right.For when ancient priest Seto Kaiba died at the hands of the pharoh(Yami), Marics father some how got hold of the millenium rod along with millenium neckless.Since Maric was a tombkeeper he wasn't allowed to see the outside world, which angered him.Once Maric knew of this his hatred twords the pharoh(Yami) begun.Which created Yami Maric.Maric first transformed into Yami Maric when he was just a boy.When he did this he took hold of the millenium rod and sent Marics father straight to the shadow realm.Through out time his dark side grew.Maric didn't know of Yami Maric existance so he thought it was the pharoh(Yami) who killed his father.His best friend Odeon kept Yami Maric from takeing over.Marics main objective in life after his father was sent to the shadow realm was to steal the pharohs power and banish him into the shadow realm for all eternity.In order to get the pharoh power he needs all the keys what creates his powers.So he enters the Battle City Torniment.Since the pharoh(Yami) decided to enter the torniment.But later in the finals Odeon ends up passing out and Yami Maric ends up takeing over.And where Maric is sent to the shadow realm.Where Ishzu ask Yugi and Yami to rescue him and save the world.At the end of the torniment Yami goes against Yami Maric in a shadow game.And Odeon ends up reawakening Maric.Even though Yami Maric is still in control.Though he ends up takeing his body back and Yami Maric gets sent to the shadow realm.And Maric learns the truth and his hatred ends.Since he is also know allowed to go above ground since the pharoh know nows the key to his powers.And the Ishtars return in season Pharohs Memories when the pharoh and his friends go to Egypt. |

Ishtzu Ishtar is a five thoughsand year old tombkeeper. She is the older sistter of Maric Ishtar. Is the holder of the millennium neckless.Gives her the ability to see into the past and the future.She is more loyal to the pharoh (Yami) then her brother is.Ishzu is an Egyptaintologist, where she works part time at the Domeno Museum in Japan. When she is not working in the Domeno Museum she spends her time doing research in Egypt on the pharoh ( Yami) and useing her millennium neckless to see into the past to study the pharoh (Yami) to find out as much as possible.Her biggest fear is Yami Maric which is the evil that lies within. Maric that was created when he was just a child.That the evil might take over.Which it does take over.Ishzu tought Maric how to duel.Her main objective is to help her brother rid him self of the evil and to help the pharoh regain his powers.Which she does.It is her familys duty to await for the pharoh to return and help him regain his powers.Until his return they have to stay under ground.The last time Ishzu is scene is episode 224 season eight Pharohs Memories. |
